The city is named for the occasional sudden squalls created by a ley line pattern in the mountains around the glorious city. The child king, Anduin Wrynn, resides in Stormwind Keep, surrounded by his body guards and advisors, Highlord Bolvar Fordragon (the regent), and Lady Katrana Prestor. It is located in the northwestern part of Elwynn Forest. Stormwind is the faction associated with Stormwind City, the capital of the humans. One of the last bastions of human power, this Alliance capital is ruled by the child king, Anduin Wrynn.
